Who would be your playoff teams if teams were chosen just like the college football playoff? Pick 4 teams from each class. Big discussion every year is "best team vs most deserving." For example, like last year, some people thought a 2 loss Georgia deserved in over an undefeated Notre Dame but Notre was chosen. Do you take an undefeated team who's played a mediocre schedule over a one loss or two loss team who has played a much more difficult schedule? Criteria to consider would be eye test, head to head, rpi, overall record, strength of schedule, and common opponents played.
