Atletico lost many of their best players from last season, for example Curtois GK went back to Chelsea and Diego Costa was bought by Chelsea. They have bought some new quality players but I do not think they will be able to repeat last seasons 2nd place in Champions League and winner of La Liga. Atletico Madrid did well this season in matches against Real Madrid, but against other opponents they won just once (Eibar). On Saturday Atletico dropped two points in a home game against Celta. However, the level of play was not bad, Simeone claimed it was best Atletico’s performance this season.

Whole team works really hard, even wingers Vitolo and Aleix Vidal greatly help in the defense. Eibar have had a decent start to their campaign thus far. They had begun with a home win over Real Sociedad on the opening day of the season in a match which was decided by Javi Lara’s solitary strike. Following a dream start to their campaign, Eibar went down to the defending champions by 2-1 in Madrid and their disappointment continued into the third gameweek when they lost to fellow promoted side Deportivo La Coruna. In their last match coming into this game, Eibar secured a crucial 2-0 away win at Elche which might help them stay in this division at the end of the ongoing season. Dani Garcia and Raul Albentosa scored the two goals, both of which came in the first half of the game.
