14th Region Girls and Boys Media Day will be held Wenesday (11/17/10) @ Memorial Gym in Hazard. Hear it all on WKCB 107.1 and www.wkcb.com begining at 10 AM.

Players: 1. Kendall Noble (Perry County Central), 2. Hillary Moore (Leslie County), 3. Kelah Eldridge (Letcher County Central), 4. Kayla Rankin (Perry County Central), 5. Paige Slone (Knott County Central), 6. Peyton Wright (Owsley County), 7. Haley Whitaker (Letcher County Central), 8. Erica Meade (Letcher County Central), 9. Whitney Back (Perry County Central), 10. Kelsie Jacobs (Knott County Central).

This region has some very good young talent. Should be fun to watch!

Most coaches don't have a clue. Powell Co is way underrated.

Powell lost McFarland, Rogers and another Senior or 2. I know they had a few good young players returning but who is going to step in and replace what they lost with Rogers and McFarland?

It will be interesting to see how the team and player rankings change as the season goes on. Maybe some sleepers that will creep into the top 10 list of players. There a lot of schools that have good players that are not on this list.....
