Lee County 70 Owsley Co. 51

Good game by big Tyler Rich. He's proven himself a leader this year.

I've got to say if Owsley had a different coach or coaching philosophy this game would've been different imo.

Surely you jest. Owsley County had no chance. Who was going to stop Tyler Rich...the new coach? Was the new coach going to make Neeley and Smith get along and make Smith not shoot 3 airballs. No way. Lee's defense was too much as there were several traveling calls made against the Owls as they just didn't know what to do. They better pray they don't get ol Lee Co. in districts

your entitled to your opinion. Tyler Rich is an extremely gifted player, but there are certain defenses that can shut a post man down. As for wanting Lee Co in district...no one in their right mind would want that. And I can assure you if Owsley doesn't do something with their coaching staff it wouldn't matter if they had Riverside there not going to win.

Give Smith a break. He's been away from basketball for a year .With the exception of summer camps, he hasn't been allowed to practice with the team, and the only gym time he's has had is on his own. He wll be OK after a few games.
Actually I figured Lee would win this game by a bigger margin with Smith still shaking the rust off and Neeley with an injured thumb. The Owls were within 12 points with 4 minutes left in the game. When Smith gets honed in and Neeley gets well the Bobcats may not be so lucky next time.
