The lady blackcats score in the first five minutes of the game to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. During the first five minutes of the second half Lawrence County tied it up at 1-1. Around the 15 minutes mark of the 2nd half the lady blackcats took a 2-1 lead, followed a few minutes later by another goal to make it 3-1. Lawrence County was able to get another goal in the closing minutes to cut the lead to 3-2. Lawrence County was able to keep the pressure on for the final few minutes and had two other scoring chances but came up short. The lady dawgs are continuing to improve and it appears that first win is getting closer. Lawrence County was without two starters for the game as well. Not bad for the girls, just keep your heads up and keep taking those shots.
