Here are some Class AA results from the meet in Lexington

Girls:

7th place ----- Kelsey Mullins Letcher 21:59
8th place ----- Jade Goodwin Harlan County 22:03
12th place ---- Jessica Cottrell Harlan County 22:35
14th place ---- Hayle Helton Harlan County 22:43
20th place ---- Kelah Eldridge Letcher 23:25

Team: Harlan County finished 4th and Letcher finished 5th


Boys:

20th place ----- Hunter Middleton Harlan County 18:33
32nd place ----- Jacob Carroll Harlan County 19:05
33rd place ----- Tyler Smith Letcher 19:09
41st place ----- Ben Graham Harlan County 19:25
42nd place ----- Trenton Whitaker Letcher 19:29

Team: Harlan County finished 6th and Letcher finished 8th


Congrats to ALL the kids from both schools! Outstanding job!

The regional tournament is the weekend and it's going to be exciting to watch. Good luck to everyone!

Congrats and good look at region. It was an Eastern,Ky team who won the meet of champions in Ashland.

region will b anyones race it according to who runs the best that day LCC or Harlan...cant wait till saterday.

It should definitely be a good rivalry for years to come. HC is made up of mostly 8th graders through sophomores on the girls and boys both (girls top runner is in the 8th and boys is a sophomore). I'm not sure about LCC, but I know they always have a strong program.

Again, good luck to all the runners on Saturday. HC and LCC should get both teams in the State Championship.

One of top girls is a sophomore, but other that that I don't know the rest of them.

our top 3 girls are a junior, sophomore, and freshmen.

our top 3 boys are a junior, sophomore, and senior.
