I got this idea from "the game never played" thread. Tell us a game that wasnt played this year that you would like too have seen!

IMO I would have liked too seen Allen Central and Shelby Valley.

P-burg vs Allen Central ( I really think these county schools should be forced to play each other , BL,SF, as well , I know the single A schools play each other but let's include P-burg as well, A true FCF champion, it can only be good for FCF, and it's fans, they play each other all the way through grade school, than these rivalries just die, stop ducking P-burg and let's play ( not hating , I'm a BL parent , BUT, would love to see these county rivalries continued in High School !!!! IMOP P-burg 36 AC 12 Good luck to both teams in the playoffs, congrats., to both as well on fine seasons. ( Great thread got me thinking! )

As a fan being from Northern Kentucky I would have loved to see a Highlands/Simon Kenton match up as it would pit the best 2 teams in the area against each other as they both have a great shot at winning their respective class championships. Hopefully they will be able to schedule a game or two in the near future.

I agree with Highlands/Simon Kenton. Would like to have seen that one. Assume highlands would win 7 out of 10 times but for one game you never know.

This game was played as a pre-season scrimmage. It was a good match up but a score was not kept. It was played as 20 offense and 20 defense back and fourth. Would be a great matchup. The game I would love to see would have been Highlands and SK.

The primary interest for this question is who is really best amongst the top teams that don't play each other. Along those lines, I agree with the Highlands vs. Simon Kenton matchup. Second preference would be Highlands vs. Louisville St. X.

I do believe that Louisville St. X or Simon Kenton will be the 6A champ. Highlands will be the 5A champ barring anthing out of the ordinary. So if that scenario plays out, there will always be an argument as to who was the best team in Kentucky this year.

That's my logic.
