It shows on individual team stats that Arianna Collins of Letcher Central has scored 27 goals this year but it doesn't list her on the statewide states. They have also played at least 14 games.

These are 2006 not 2009 stats. The reason I caught this is these stats listed a girl from Perry Central who had 52 goals. This year, Perry Central's team has not scored that many combined.
#7
caleb petry from prestonsburg is leading the state in scoring and brad stanley from prestonsburg is leading the state in assists.

http://www.khsaa.org/soccer/2009/bstats.htm

Here is a link to this years. BUT, they are OFF!
If you don't believe me check them for yourself.

Paintsville's should be:
John Cybriwsky - 14 gms - 26 gls - 1.6 avg
Timothy Sublett - 7 gms (In goal) - 3 SO - 1.62 GAA

Not sure on our assist though.

Jeffery Poston is lead the state in goals with 36. They haven't updated the stats yet. As for the assists I don't know right off.
#10
petry ended up with 38

Bck Wrote:petry ended up with 38

According to the stats on the khsaa website he had 34 and that was at the end of regular season play
#12
actully right now it has him at 33 goals and posten at 36,but i look and his last two games he had 5 which puts him aat 38.
#13
Arianna Collins of Letcher Central is tied for 9th in the state in scoring, and is tied for 10th in assist. This girl is just a sophmore.

Whitney Porter is tied for 8th in the state in shutouts with 8 shutouts.

Great job girls, and good luck in the tournament.

They must have had a make up game on saturday. Because it wasn't on the schedule the other day, because I was looking at the leaders in the state to see if there was any changes possable. Petry had 5 goals in that game. I am corrected.

Also these stats aren't including any tournement goals yet. Poston scored one against North Laurel tonight. Prestonsburg plays Johnson Central and that is alot weaker of a team. Petry should score a few there. So there is no telling.

tournament goals do not count only regulat season

That "weaker of a team" beat PBurg tonight, ending their season.
#18
Paintsville girls don't add their stats till after the season. But, their Goal Keeper, Soph. Krissy Halm has 11 shut outs on the season.

All the KHSAA records include tourney stats. They do not seperate one from the other.

Good for them! I hope they win thier district.
#21
Then again they already go to region so it don't matter if they beat paintsville or not! Congrats to both teams!

Sorry I may be mistaken, I thought both teams in the finals went to region.(which still may be the case) But, I forgot that there are now 4 districts in the Region. I would assume that this is still the case but I am not for certain. But out of what is left I am pretty happ and should be an interesting tourney!

Johnson Central has always been a better team than Pburg. As a player who has played against both teams for 3 years. JC def outplays Pburg.

This year Arianna Collins led the state in scoring and assist. Hopefully they will increase the strength of schedule, and work in the off season to get that regional title.
