When the question ask "Who is the graetest program of all time", its not asking for who had the better teams, or who had the better records, or who had the better players. its asking who since they first started there programs who was more consistant than any other team. yeah ucla in the 70s was probably the best teams to ever play college basketball, but what did they do in the 80s? the answer is NOTHING! Kentucky has been a contender for the title almost every year. and when the didnt make the tourney, they were continding for the nit. there were years where ucla didnt make it to either tournament. the truth is that Kentucky has been more consistant than any college team to ever play the game. Kentucky has been there at the end of the season playing almost every year, when ucla was watching it on tv or listening on the radio. this is a no brainer, Kentucky is the greatest ball program. ucla is second. everyone else is so far back that there is no reason to talk about them. we should make it the top 2 programs of all time cuz its UK, and ucla.
