The Masters 2009
#1
Who does everyone like to win the first PGA Major of the season?

Tiger or "the Field".

If you pick "the Field", who do you think wins the green jacket?

Tiger

Zach Johnson - I am a huge Tiger mark, but they have made the fairways tighter than they have ever been. In the Masters, if you do not hit fairways, you do not score well. Tiger, though he won, is struggling (per him) with his driver. No Driver, No green jacket.

This course this year is made for a player like Johnson and Mickelson. I am no fan of Phil, so I will go with Zach

I'll take Tiger. I haven't ever picked against him in a Major.

Chad Campbell is playing out of his mind today.
#7
Jim Furyk.
#8
Gotta go with "Lefty"

How bout the KY Boy leading the way. I think he has played some great golf in the last year. Still can't count Tiger out Saturday is his best day.

I think we can count Tiger out

I'm really surprised Tiger didn't step up today.

At the end of three rounds...
Co-Leaders: Kenny Perry and Angel Cabrera: -11
3rd: Chad Campbell: -9
4th: Jim Furyk: -8
5th: Steve Stricker: -7
T-6th: Rory Sabbatini: -6
T-6th: Shingo Katayama: -6
T-6th: Todd Hamilton: -6
9th: Tim Clark: -5
T-10th: Tiger Woods: -4
T-10th: Phil Mickelson: -4

Seven others are tied for 10th as well. Defending Champion, Trevor Immelman is T-37th at +1.

Perry was the one who choked...he had it in the bag...
Would have loved to have seen him win...

Perry definately made enough mental mistakes on the last two holes to lose. He said it best when he said "I lost this tournament".

He should have pulled it out but choked on the last 3 holes and blew it away!

Lot's of talk about choke. The guy who choked, and at the time of the choke had no reason to, was Campbell. When he finished 18, he blew a 4 footer that ultimately would have given him the win.
