Hazard 51 - Perry Co. Central 48 OT (14th Region Championship)
Blue-N-Gold Wrote:I agree with this. I thought it was stupid to have to drive all the way to Powell Co. when both teams in the championship game were right here in Perry Co. And we got stopped in traffic because of a wreck and had to sit for 30 mins or more so by the time we got to the gym there was no place to park and we had to park at the church and walk to the gym and then there were no seats left. GRRRRRRRRR

I feel ya:HitWall:
It's all about money..

And politics, little bit of politics..
Ok question. Why complain about location? Why complain about paying for 2 games? All the money is split between 14th region schools. the more tickets sold then more money for YOUR school. it doesnt matter if its the 4th largest gym or smallest. Money is money that is split. Ok you dont like the drive sure ill give you that but remember others have to travel the same distance to your school. and im sure we will find something to complain about where ever any of us go but we make a choice to watch a ballgame or sit at the house.

It amazes me how everyone, who doesn't share your view on things is always wrong, or don't know what they are talking about. Must be because you are at the right hand of God. Wow, such power.
Aslan Wrote:I agree with about everything you said.
It's just a game...I never seen so much chaos after a game in my life. Really fights everywhere. The police handled it horribly.
Hazard pep section could murder someone and people around the region would still speak highly of them, and poorly about PCC.

Well the news said it was a bunch of PCC fans that they had to escort out, and you want us to say good things about them. Where the **** are you from?
Something is seriously wrong with you.....get some help.

mountain hoops guru Wrote:THAT IS WHY MILAM "TALKS SPORTS AND DOESN'T REF THEM" Smile The over and back was the correct call or non call however you want to say it, the 2nd again was not. You can touch the net until the ball gets in the cylinder, the ball wasn't close to the cylinder, so this was a terrible call. The officials called something that wasn't even possible. THEY SCREWED UP AND THAT IS ALL YOU CAN SAY ABOUT IT. People are trying to help them out and coming up with excuses for them, but it's not possible, they just blew a call. I'm sure it wasn't the only one they blew that night or all that week for that matter, it just so happens it was the worst one they could of blown with 10 seconds to go in a Regional Championship game. Just feel sorry for the kids involved.

It's amazing to me how little some of you people actually read or listen. I never said it was the right or wrong call!!!!! What I said was, "I spoke with several officials...and they said the proper calls were made." Then I reiterated what the officials said. The referees I spoke with were not from the 12th but instead the 14th and 15th regions.
I wish the call had not been made but if it is a rule, then it's a rule. I disagreed with the three second call on KCC against PCC and wish the goaltending call had not been made. I was glad to see Klay Maggard hit the two free throws at the end of regulation for the referee's sake. That call did not decide the game since Klay hit the charity shots. Great game, good luck Hazard and congrats to PCC on a heck of a year.

Thank you so much Brian for your clarification of the rules as well as your researching the calls. It is always refreshing to have someone with the experience and qualifications you have to help us better understand what happens during games. As you also said, great game and good luck Hazard!!
Good job Hazard
Let's not blame the refs for the loss. BTW I loved the goal tending call. that move by Mullins turned the tide toward the Dawgs!
