In this time of recession, has anyone stopped to wonder where the money is coming from for the 2010 Equestrian Games that are coming up?

Just a few questions I have are:

Where is the money coming from to get this thing together? And is there taxpayer money going into this?

If the economy is still suffering at the time of the games, can they really expect a big turn out to this event?

Lastly, do YOU plan on attending? I guess I'm glad something like this is coming to KY, but personally, I won't be attending.

I won't be attending but it is mainly an international event. Not sure where the money is coming from but Lexington and surrounding area's economies will benefit greatly from the games as well as the additional sales tax revenue that will be brought into the state.

We're lucky to be hosting the event. It will bring loads of cash into the state.
