Wow is about all you can say about this game from the Irish. Glad to see them finally pull out their first bowl win since 1994. Jimmy had over 400 yards passing and 5 TD's. Charlie Weis was calling the plays for the Irish since their former OC is now going to be taking over the head spot at Miami OH. As a die hard Irish fan that makes the journey to South Bend to catch a few games a season this was much needed. The majority of the starters were either Freshmen or Sophomores. Next season will be the tell tale of this bunch and Weis's coaching ability. No excuses for 2009 with all the top 10 recruiting classes they have had come in the past 3 seasons. GO IRISH!

Kinda expected this, Hawaii is pretty weak compared to Notre Dame and the Irish did have something to prove.
