Phelps just has a great team but no one ever gives them any credit and Pike Central needs to learn a little bit of sportsmanship. One of their players flipped the crowd off from the court and in the B team game this kid from Pike Central tried to start a fight.

Coach Cambell may very well be a great coach but his sideline manners could use some improvement. Cursing at the ref's in fornt of spectators does not leave a very good impression.

There is no reason for Pike Central to lose to Phelps this year. Doesn't matter if the game was played on a dirt court with rims attached to corn cribs. As for the conduct, unacceptable and it didn't used to be that way. Shame.

HawkHead - I assume you were not at the game or I guess you have limited knowledge of the game of basketball. When a team shoots 49 free-throws and the other shoots 16 thats a little lopsided. That's a lot lopsided. As for conduct you got be kidding, good thing the Lyon's kid was not still playing he would have taken on half the gym! We have selected memory when it comes to jealousy and dislike of some people. Give Phelps some credit they played a good first half and had some help in the second. Eventually won in overtime. Game Over. It will be difficult for any team to win at Phelps when they shoot 40 and up from the FT Line wonder if Valley is playing them?

the player in question shoved a player from Phelps,the official called a technical foul on the player and ejected him from the game.when he was being escorted off the floor by a PCC asst coach, he flipped off the fans on the Phelps side,the official then called an indirect technical on the coach from PCC.

if the ref sets there and takes it, its his fault, clay is a great coach and not to much of a wimp to tell it how it is... unlike SOME coaches...:Thumbs:

The player from pcc was wrong for flipping off the crowd, but then again 30 and 40 year old Phelps fans were wrong for taunting a sophmore in high school. If you expect our youth to display good sportmanship how about the adults lead by example. When he was walking off the court even pcc assistant coach was telling him to just ignore ignorance, but then again he retailiated in the same manner.

Thats very true. It was somewhere around 49 for phelps and somewhere around 18 for Pike Central.. Very one sided if you ask me.

Well see how it turns out when Phelps comes to our house.
