I rolled my eyes so hard when I read this, I could see my brain.

this quote caught my eye:

"Hopefully I'll train hard all winter. I can hit it, but I don't feel like I feel when I'm strong. I can tell out there. I'm older now. It's harder."

I knew it wouldn't be long for all the Bonds talk started again...

BTW, Bonds just hit #705, a towering blast into the bay after nearly a year off.

As a kid, Bonds was my favorite baseball player...but even though he's better now then he was then, he has totally lost my respect. Other then the obvious steroid use, i read an article that quoted him saying that he would erase babe ruth from the record books and said a lot of disrespectful comments. Anyone who looks into the stats will see that Bonds has had A LOT more plate appearances then Ruth did in his career.

Yeah... I would have been fine with him staying out of baseball and just fading into the background. Hopefully he'll take a tip from McGwire and just disappear after the season.

And although I believe he's probably off the roids now, all his muscle isn't gone yet.
