Paintsville won their first game against a good Leslie Co. team by a score of 35-25. I was told they had very balanced scoring. Jarrell only scored 7 points but had 15 rebounds. Kendra Carroll and Jesikah Russell both scored in double digits.

Leslie Co. came in 3rd in AAU and had a very good camp at Hazard.

Haven't heard any other scores.

I don't know much about the Varsity girls but I know that Paintsville's JV team were runner's up. They got beat out by Leslie Co. who had pulled their Varsity down and played them on a JV team. Kendra Lyons is reallt starting to fill the role expected of her. If she keeps this up you could be seeing her on the court with Varsity some.
