Longest homerun
#1
Two years ago as a junior, Brandon Charles hit a homerun in practice onto the first level of the mountain at Pike Central. Thats one of the longest homers i've ever seen. From what i've heard Jarrod Frasure did the same thing his senior year during a game. 8)

I've actually seen a couple homers hit the upper part of the 2nd level...

I guarantee the longest homerun ever hit at Pike Central was by the catcher of Boyd County in the Section 4 Champiomship game against Pikeville in 1998. He turned on a Josh Shofner fastball and absolutely killed it. Anyone who was at that game will remember that because it was a SHOT. I was playing left field and didn't even take one step back. I just turned around and watched because it was a no doubter. Was anyone else on here at that game and remember that homerun?

Jarrod Frasure's shot was a foul ball off of Brandon Sawyers.
