Paintsville on a losing streak
#1
Paintsville hasn't played up to thier ability this year. They lost to Pikeville at home and then a double header at Russel. The score to the first game was 3-1 but in the second game the tigers had thier next years starters on the field. here were the starters...
1st- Kyle Subblet
2nd-Jonathan Miller
ss-Daniel Pugh
3rd-Travis Ison
C-Logan Barker
Rf-Bryan Farichild (exception Jd on the DL)
Cf-Shane Grimm
Lf-Andrew Brown
The team played well and had a lot of help from the defensive side of things. Barker had a good game behind the plate throwing 3 people out at second. Also Jonathan Miller had a great defensive game knocking down everything that came his way. The next year tiger team only lost 3-0.
Also on wednesday the tigers lost to Lawrence County 6-0 Micheal Compton threw fo the dogs allowing just one hit. Adam davis did really well for the tigers after coming into pitch after taking warmups in the outfield. The tigers were supposed to play yesterday but got rained out. The tigers are back in action tonight looking for a wim on senior night against Hazard.

Miller has impressed me this year and has only dropped one ball but still got the out because of the runner over running the bag. He seems to work well with the shortstop no matter who it is and barker when he is behind the plate. Next year with the tigers awesome up the middle and good defensive catcher they should have a winning season. Although the last few games have been upsetters for the tigers i am confident that in the region and district it wil be a hole new team playing and will be unstopable. The lineup will be strong although there will be few homeruns hit b/c all of the future tigers are on base hitters with the exception of Brown and Williams

Miller has only had a very few balls hit toward him this year. We will see next year when there are alot to balls hit toward him. He is a great kid and a good baseball player. Logan did have a good game and will only get better as his carrer goes on. Travis Ison and JD VanHoose will make a good right side of the infield next year.
