Final from Shelby County High School. Saw this one as a potential trap game, but the Yellow Jackets took care of business.
Woodford gets the winner of tomorrow's match-up between Shelby County and Spencer County in the final. Spencer County might not be a perennial power, but they shouldn't be taken lightly. They're 20-9 on the season with losses to DeSales, Jeffersontown, North Oldham, Newport, CAL, Woodford County, and North Hardin. They've defeated Male in the LIT and Oldham County, Doss, & Bullitt East on the road. The Bears' only losses in 2024 are a 10 point decision at Woodford and a 2 point loss to North Hardin in Radcliff.
With Oldham County knocked out, the 8th likely goes to North Oldham, Woodford County, South Oldham, or Spencer County, but two of those will enter the regional as a runner-up (if Spencer County even makes it).
