Leslie lost to Estill. You can’t lose to Estill and be considered a regional contender in my eyes. Until they beat Perry, Knott, Letcher or Owsley they aren’t in the top of the 14th.

It sure feels like Leslie is down this year considering the last few classes of talent they have had. But this was a solid win for the Eagles.  

Not sure if I would go as far as to say that this is a "bad loss" for Paintsville. Leslie may or may not be down this year but they are always a tough squad to beat. 


Still early though so we will see.
