Do you think it will be that high scoring?

This matchup is very interesting. Both teams have improved as the season has progressed and they are both playing extremely well right now. I still think highlands is the favorite though.

Highlands.

I felt like HHS was in control most of time last game. A couple of late Cooper TD's made the score much closer than the game actually was that night. Cooper could not stop the running attack of HHS, which was the same blocking scheme over and over. HHS would trap the DE and lead through with a TE, they alternated with RB/QB carrying the ball. Cooper went empty backfield and threw the ball 50 times and ran the ball about 5 times.

I have a lot more faith in a solid ground attack, so I am going with HHS. Even though Cooper has been much better running the ball with the emergence of Sophomore RB Maher.

The Gaisler kid runs the ball extremely hard. At times he reminds me a little of frisk. They need to let him shoulder more of the load in my opinion.

Cooper's run defense has greatly improved since the earlier meeting. They've proved it the last two weeks against historically good running teams. That will be the factor I'll be looking for in this contest. Highlands has been good all year and earned the comfort of home field throughout so expect them to be in stride. Cooper has been on the road the last two weeks so this shouldn't shake their routine either. The 30-minute drive will feel like backyard compared to the Somerset haul. Turnovers were even last time but the biggest difference was Cooper had a pick 6 for 95 yards. That was at least a 10-point swing.

Cooper is capable of winning here but Highlands should be considered the favorite... by how much? I'm not really sure, 8-12 points seems fair. I'll be pulling for the Jags to pull off the upset, I like this team.
