Corbin looked very basic tonight in the first half. They hit some big passes but seemed to want to run the ball and get it going. Once it was 21-7, they just opened it up and put it away fast..very fast.

We figured we’d let a Corbin hater who’s obsessed with us start it…. And what do ya know. 


For everyone else: Corbin didn’t play bad. Like someone else said, it was pretty basic. Very predictable. But once they started passing they showed what they can do. Confused on the play calling. Teams have already got what we do, not running certain sets or plays won’t make a difference for one game a week before. Air it out and work on timing. But they seemed bound and determined to run it. Bailey needs to turn it up if they are gonna do that. Way to much dancing around back there. Boyles speed will stop those little 3-4 yards he gets doing that and turn them into 0-1 yards. Open field he’s got moves. But when you do it at the line you’re not doing yourself any favors. But Taylor did a good job with their game plan. Credit them. They took the air of the sails holding the ball like they did. Their D wasn’t to bad either. Their lack of a passing game is killer for them. Just a decent short game would make them dangerous, especially with the backs and the line they have. But on to the next I guess.

I left halfway through the fourth quarter and the score was 49-7 with Taylor county having less than 100 yards offense. Only score was a three yard touchdown drive that took four plays to score after interception return. Never seen a undefeated team get so much hatred.

So you let them take your signs?  Who were the henchman?  Were they school officials, police, security rent a cops?

School official was one of them. Didn't recognize the other goon.  Was pretty much like the guy at Rupp with the sign. Give up the signs or leave.

The signs were typical Old School but were not terrible . I'll share the content if anyone is interested.

Perfect assessment about Know it (all) and about the game.  Corbin did seem to just toy with them, at times, and eventually just wore them down and finished them off in a span of just a few minutes. I really liked Taylor's team, though. They played hard and have some nice athletes. Not a bad football team , at all.
