I'll take Corbin, but if Corbin lets taylor move the ball like Johnson Central it will be a low scoring game.
#5
Corbin 38
Taylor Co. 14

Corbin. I don't expect Taylor will move the ball that much. Like their game against Boyle, I think Taylor gets a field goal. If Corbin gives up several touchdowns, even if the game is firmly under control, then I have some questions.
#7
I think Taylor scores 10-14. Corbin scores 35-42

Corbin wins but this could get interesting

The only thing interesting will be if Dave Cox sh!ts himself when he sees the sign near Campbell Field on Friday calling upon him to RESIGN IMMEDIATELY!

Taylor can't throw the ball. Corbin has a very good run defense. This one won't be close.
#11
Taylor has gotten better at passing the last couple of games, probably trying to prepare the best they can for Corbin, but their main thing is running the ball which will be tough against Corbin. If Taylor can somehow move the ball and get some stops, it will be a good game, at least for part of it.

The biggest rival Corbin football has?

Hopefully ashland upsets Covington so it will at least be semis before boyle and corbin have to play. It be a shame if 1 of the 2 best teams in the entire state regardless of class didn’t come out with a regional.

Boyle county of the last 4 years considering corbin doesn’t play bell or belfry anymore due to the changing of classes from 3 to 4A.

If a bullfrog had wings it wouldn't bump it's hind end. Corbin will smoke Taylor County.

It'll be interesting to watch how Hayes Johnson does against his future teammates The Twins. I know he was recruited more of a project O Lineman but he's still very good. I think going against the likes of Jerod will be a good tool for him. It'll also be a good tool for Smith to have to battle an O Lineman the caliber of Johnson. He's faced some good O Linemen but not since young Schlarman at Lex Cath and the kid from Douglass has Corbin faced a true D1 lineman.

I expect Taylor to keep it close in the first half, 21-14 . But Corbin will pull away in the second half and way in 35-14.
#22
If Taylor couldn't keep it close against Boyle what makes you fartheads think they'll be competitive against my Redhounds?

Taylor County won't have time to throw the ball.

Seems like you always hear alot about Taylor County early in the year.. then they disappoint.

Sometimes you don't know what the end result is of these playoff games, a team takes another for granted and can get smoked or a team comes out flat and the weaker team takes advantage of it. Could be an interesting game, might not be. Could be Corbin comes out fired up on all cylinders and puts them completely out of the game early on. I always hope for a good game no matter who is playing. I happen to be a fan of Corbin's coach, and because of that I feel like so many times before he will bring the right game plan & have his team execute it well.

Just curious, at what point in 4 years has he brought “the right game plan?”
