I think the RPI comes into play after the 2nd round.

extremely long shot, but if East Carter and Lawrence County win (along with Belfry and LexCath), i believe Lawrence would travel to Pond Creek round 3.

The Bobcats In a shootout 54 - 49 whoever has the ball last!!

That is correct and I don’t think it’s as long a shot as many think. Lawrence County is solid, they play great defense. After watching film, this Bulldogs defense will be the best that they have faced all season.
#11
an interesting part of this game for me is that the last 3 times the two have played belfry has by far had the best player. in 3 games isaac dixon rushed for 605 yards against bell. this time bell has the best player.

lawrence wasn't the long shot in that scenario... at all.

Well you said East Carter and Lawrence so that’s the way I read it. Can you clarify?
#13
Empty possessions can change the game and turnovers can absolutely flip the script.

Belfry 40-36

Dude….relax.   All the poster was saying is that a lot would need to happen for a Belfry /LC rematch.   He also mentioned Lex Cath and Belfry in the same comment.  He was not throwing shade at LC.    Geez.

Bell should show up with a chip on their shoulder since lost 3 in a row to the pirates. Yes no Dixon this time but Woolum is a pretty good replacement. Throw 2 good full backs and if can get past line of scrimmage the Caudill kid is hard to catch. Bell has an excellent back also. I think it will be one of best 2 round matchups this Friday night. Game could go either way but you have to give advantage to Belfry playing at home. I’m guessing 48-42 pirates.
#18
Pirates by two scores.

Ok I am going to ask, cause I don’t know. According to these comments, majority are picking Belfry. Is Bell getting no love for a 10-1 team? Someone also mentioned Bell is a “one trick pony”. I mean I would assume Bell is favored playing at home and Belfry being 8-3 and playing away. So what am I missing?

Yes I can clarify
East Carter is not a very good football team. If they win, which is a long shot, and Lawrence wins then Lawrence would travel to Belfry for round 3. But if Lawrence doesn’t win, and Rockcastle wins… and East Carter wins too… then Belfry would go to LexCath.

therefore, for Belfry to host next week, they require both Lawrence County (who has close to a 50/50 chance of winning or so) and East Carter (who has like a 20% chance of winning) both to win. According to my Scott Steiner math, that’s not a very good chance, therefore it is a long shot.

hope that clears things up for you!

Sounds like a 141 and 2/3% chance of winning, unless you add Kurt Angle to the mix! Lol classic reference! I would like to see Scott Steiner give a run down on RPI after you brought that up.

I hope nobody mentions LC on this thread again so I only have to read how good they are on one thread and I do think they have a good team but not the greatest show on turf team

What you’re missing is that this game is being played at Belfry since they are the #1 seed so Bell is traveling there for the game. As far as no love, what do you expect? Haha
