Always had much respect for Williamsburg, they play very hard and clean now and all the way backs to the 80s...straight up good program.

This year they don't have the horses. Pikeville 40, 'Burg 14

Would like to see Wburg get back to those competitive days. It helps all in 1-A and all that they schedule from season to season. There have been some great games in the history of the Jackets and Panthers. Hope this Fridays contest is competitive. Jmo, my Panthers need another tough game on its road to Commonwealth. Look for more underclassmen to see reps before the half with a running clock.

Wburg -16

Long bus ride back to Williamsburg, The future looks bright for Williamsburg the next 3yrs

Too bad it’s so bright in Pikeville that I have to wear my Sunglasses at night, just like Corey Hart said.
Honestly the big numbers offensively that Williamsburg put up against Hazard made me at least raise one eyebrow. Could be cold and wet Friday night, can Williamsburg match up physically? Glad we get to find out.

This is a good Williamsburg team, but Pikeville takes this one.

Bit of a transition year for the Jackets with all the young receivers and a new QB. Hurts to lose Thomas next year at RB, but should be closer to a typical WHS team. I'll go with 55-20 for this one and hopefully a return to 8-plus wins in '24.

Williamsburg isn’t putting 3 scores on the board unless Pikeville’s JV plays 3 quarters.

You might change something but it won’t be your mind because you have to have one so you can change it hahaha

20 is based on much of the second half being the Panther JV defense.

Really enjoying watching this young Pikeville defense get better, especially after graduating many great players from last year. I feel like they are a championship caliber defense and they will be fun to watch swarming the excellent WB QB on Friday.

Will be a good warmup if chalk prevails for Middlesboro next week who has a bigger, stronger, faster QB who is more accurate and has a heck of a receiver to throw to. Panthers on upset alert next week?

Totally agree jp. If I said they have had tremendous growth since the season's beginning would actually be an understatement. Game by game weekly, we've seen lots of growth and they're young too.

44 for pikeville will play D1 imo. Hate pikeville but really enjoy watching that kid. Imo he’s a better middle linebacker than 35 even tho 35 is a game changer.

44 is only a freshman and omg I'm not saying a word just watch the film...looks like a college player already lol

I don't like wishing my life to go fast but Middlesboro can't get here soon enough for me...one of 2 or 3 programs I genuinely dislike, really going to enjoy a week from Friday

After thinking for a minute it dawned on me that Middlesboro is actually the only program I dislike lol and I'm being serious
