These 2 use to meet all the time back in the early 90’s I believe but Belfry wins this one
#6
Belfy did play Clay every year back in the day and Clay did win a few games but Belfry should roll in this one.

I wouldn't want to play Belfry right now... Pirates roll, 42-21.
#8
Clay will probably score some points.... but not sure they have enough defense to run with Belfry.

Belfry 54
Clay 20

It appears the Pirates have righted the ship. Pond Creek Nation, big.

Belfry should win this game…..but Clay will be competitive for a while IMO.

I said at the beginning of the year that clays offense would be unstoppable, and it was true outside the district games. The coaching staff at clay really screwed the pooch on this season i think and injuries plaqued. Hate tate rice will end like this.

Belfry 48-14

Belfry dominates.

clays offense has been sitting on the sideline since week 3. Hate that his career ended like that.

THE ONE ISSUE BELFRY HAS IN MY OPINION IS PASS DEFENSE AND WE KNOW CLAY LOVES TO THROW THE ROCK, I LOOK FOR CLAY TO SCORE SOME POINTS BUT BELFRY WILL BE TOO MUCH

CLAY 24

Guarantee you it won’t end at Bell County.
#19
If that matchup happens i'll take Belfrey
#20
Belfry will win comfortably but Clay County is probably the best 4 seed in 3A. They are 7-3. They’d likely finish 3rd if they were in Belfry’s district. I think game goes similar to the Letcher game.

If that game is played….both teams must take care of business Friday, the game will be at Belfry.  If the whole point of your post was to indicate that Belfry won’t win a game beyond the first round….you could be right.   The district has been terribly week over the past couple of seasons, Belfry not excluded.

That being said….a Belfry/ Bell Co game is an intriguing matchup.   I would still like Belfry’s chances being at home.

Won't be at Bell County... may end to Bell County... but not at.

Hopefully Bell County has given Daniel Thomas an oil change before playoffs. They have definitely put over 3000 miles on him this season. Dudley riding that kid harder then a government mule.

If Belfry and Bell play, the game will take place at Belfry since Belfry is a #1 seed. Bell is a #2 seed and the lower seed travels to the higher seed.

I think they have given him an oil change, and every other tune up and rest. He got 41 carries against Rock… since then, the most touches he’s has got was 22, and one game with only 14. Dudley is famous for riding the horse until their legs die out, but this year they rested up and I expect a show to be put on in the playoffs. Plus i doubt they will have to give him more than 20 touches against magoffin, he should get his 20 carries 300 yards and 4 scores before half and be nice a fresh for next friday.

Bell at Belfry will be great. Old school football old and young alike appreciate. I will probably watch 1.5 quarters of Pikeville blowout and make the short trip over to watch 2nd half of Belfry/Bell. As for this game, Clay hasn't beaten a good team all year and is about to get throttled...
