I think Southwestern wins, but I don't believe it will be a blowout. This Mercer team is a very solid team and will easily win their district. I believe there is a good chance the Titans play for a regional championship

I think the different schedules that the teams have played will play a major factor in this one. The teams that Southwestern has played are a combined 8-4 with 2 of those losses coming to Southwestern and the other 2 to Male and Bryan Station. Mercer's wins have come against teams with a combined record of 5-11. Three of those wins were by Taylor County. Taylor County has a nice record at 3-1, but their wins have come against teams with a 1-11 record. Southwestern will be far and away the best team that Mercer has played this season, while the Titans will be, at best, the 3rd best team that Southwestern has faced.

I think that will make a major difference. Give me Southwestern, 35-14.

I think Southwestern is the favorite in this game.  They beat Mercer 35-13 last year so you think SW will win bigger this year?  SW had a great team last year and made a great run in the playoffs.  Mercer is a lot better this year than last year.  Is this SW team better than last years team?  SW really hurt Mercer with the run last year.  SW was just too big up front and wore Mercer down as the game went on.  Mercer hung with them for a while and didn't really play great.
