I don’t think Rock loses this one to Paris. I do think this will be a good game but Rock has the better athletes and will be just as fast or faster. In 25+ years of watching Rock football this is probably the fastest and most explosive offense rock has ever had. Tucker is probably the most accurate QB we have ever had an is very mobile. Our offense is the real deal an will be able to score on any team we play our defense will have to get better it’s not up to what we normally have but I would take our 3 WR against just about anyone they each are fast and can catch and score before you know it. I’ve never seen Rock have an offense that can score this quick before it’s fun to watch. I do think Paris will be our biggest test to date but we should still beat them.

Not so sure just yet.. Rockcastle is leading the state in scoring in all classes. QB must have been a lot better than most give him credit for I’m guessing.

Pairs is a solid football football team, And will present a challenge to Rock. Jakair Ransom, Jaden Holman, and Julius Gregory are phenomenal athletes and are very dangerous. It doesn't matter what class they are in. This Paris team would beat Most of the "5A" teams in Eastern Kentucky.

To be fair I siad Eastern Kentucky 5A teams
Pulaski and Southwestern is more central Kentucky but both would beat Paris.North Laurel would be interesting. That be a toss up but give the edge to the jags Whitley is 4A now. I think Paris has the better team in that match up and I'll even throw in Perry central to that list. Paris is 3+TD South Laurel, Harlan County. I do think Paris is capable of beating Rock. They are a Solid football team that's no knocks to any team above.

This is a must win for the greyhounds if they are who mini think they are. After watching Riceland and Pikeville slug it out, a convincing win for Paris. This week could put them in the conversation of being a team that could possibly knock one of them off. Right now Campbellsville is the only team that I see that could potentially do that.
#17
Campbellsville has not beaten a quality team. Teams they have played combine 4-12, and those teams have only one against bad teams. Will be must win for them as well to show something. I don't see either running with Pikeville or Raceland.

Paris will get their chance to show what they’ve got in a few weeks when they play Raceland in a district game.  As for this game I know nothing about Rockcastle County so I’m not even going to try to guess lol.

I had this same language with 55Piratefan about Eastern Kentucky, but the way I call Eastern Kentucky is when I watch the Mountain Top 10, It just so happens includes the Somerset area. So Pulaski and Southwestern is considered by most in Southeastern Kentucky. Paris is better than I thought once I looked at them on Cal Preps. I really don't know much about some teams. Paris is one of them.

Like I said Paris has talent and speed with the RB’s but people just don’t want to believe that Rock has a good offense. Rock is a solid team that will score on anyone they play. They legitimately have speed and talent on offense with a passing game that is the real deal. Which is something Rock has never had before Warren had 6 passing TD this past week multiple TD to his 3 WRs. He passed for 228 yards 3 TD to Moore 2 TD to Larkey and 1 to Jackson. He has passed for over 600 yards in 3 games and thrown 12 TDS. Rock offense can score.

If Rock can get its defense to improve they have a high ceiling as they will be able to have shootouts with teams and that alone will keep them in games they other wise may not should be in.

If Rock can fix the run defense they win
Rock 49
Paris 21

If they don’t stop the run

Rock 56
Paris 42

Comment of the week so far ????.

Honestly though this is a pretty simple game for me. Rockcastle is athletic Im sure. Im also sure that they are not more athletic as a team than Paris, so lets call it a tie athletically.

The real question to me is who is better up front?  I havent seen Rock play, from the Paris game I watched I think a lot of people would under estimate the size and talent of their line. I thought they physically dominated Hazard on both sides of the ball in the trenches. Now Hazard evidently is not very good this year but Rock hasn’t played a team with a pulse.

Rock's schedule has to be built for confidence because there is no way their out of district opponents will prepare them for a deep playoff run.
