Clay County may end up with more passing yardage tonight than any JC opponent this season. Clay County's 3rd year starting junior quarterback and some tall receivers are moving the ball very well but Clay County cannot stop JC's running game. 

I didn't catch the explanation, but JC has a defensive back out tonight and had to shuffle their lineup. Coach Matney's son, freshman Dalton Matney started at linebacker tonight.

Three starting running backs have already rushed for at least 100 yards for Johnson Central.

It is really sad that his dad did not live to see him in his first start. Dalton may be JC's next starting quarterback when Grimm graduates. He had played quite a bit before getting the start tonight and he is JC's placekick holder.
