Strange game. Boyd scored a TD on the first play of the second quarter to go up 14-0 and seemed to be rolling. But everything changed. Boyd seemed to relax or lost their edge. South Point went to a no huddle offense and Boyd couldn't stop their passing game. SP went down and scored. And then Boyd turned into the football version of the bad news bears the rest of the second quarter as South Point scored 22 unanswered points to go up 22-14 at the half.

I was very surprised at the score of this game at half. I thought Boyd was going to turn the corner with their football program this year. Maybe they still will, but this shows they still have the capability of turning into the Boyd of old on a moment’s notice.
