Hoosiers Basketball Faces Recruiting Problems...
#1
The Ice Miller report to the NCAA Committee on Infractions includes information from potential recruits and their parents that Kelvin Sampson and former assistant Rob Senderoff participated in some of the same impermissible three-way calls made during the one-year period Sampson was under sanctions by the NCAA.

Sampson stated Oct. 14 he was not aware he was engaged in a three-way call because he did not know Senderoff was on the line. The initial report said Senderoff would patch the recruits through to Sampson to fulfill the three-way call but then would just stay on the line and not participate.

Senderoff resigned today.

The calls occurred Jan. 29, April 5 and May 1 of 2007.

According to ESPN...So far, the investigation has cost the Hoosiers one basketball scholarship and coach Kelvin Sampson a $500,000 pay raise. The NCAA is still conducting its own investigation, which could lead to further sanctions.

Surprise, surprise. He's done it once, so he will do it again.
