Some really good picks, VH. I definitely think GRC is the best team in the state. It will take quite an effort to knock them off. I'm hoping the North Laurel/ Pikeville winner can make some noise. Also, I think Ashland has a real shot at taking out Cov. Cath. The Tomcats beat them pretty handily at Ashland earlier in the season. That could be a dandy opening round game.

I would like to see that. Jim Conway, who was North’s head coach for a number of years, has been an assistant at Ashland for a number of years now. He was Daniel Brown’s assistant at North, then followed him when he left, so North has a lot of connections this year besides being in it for the second time.
