Most of us have probably seen bronze statues at sporting arenas and venues.. The University of Kentucky has this statue outside of Kroger Field honoring Wilbur Hackett, Houston Hogg, Nate Northington, and Greg Page.

So that got me thinking... are there any other statues at any high school honoring players and/or coaches?  The only one I know of is at the old Wayland High school gym in Floyd County of King Kelly Coleman.

I'm sure every school has players, coaches & other people that are more than deserving of a bronze statue, but without doing any research, my guess is there are less than five in our 120 counties.

There is a statue of Paul Hornung at Slugger Field in Louisville.
