Paintsville 21 Union VA 14
#1
Paintsville hands Union their 1st loss on the season. Tigers were without Hyden and J. Allen. Freshman QB Allen played very well and threw 2TDs and had a QB sneak for his 3rd TD. Nice road win for the Tigers.

Tigers were picked off b4 putting the nail in the coffin.
Union then went 80+ yards in 2:00, but their 4th & goal pass from the 11 was picked off w/:15 left.

I thought it was a fumble, either way, the Tigers made it interesting to say the least.

So a different kid played quarterback this game? Not the kid who played against Hazard?

Same kid. Hazard was his first start.

Thought the kid to start at Hazard was a James?

Congrats Tigers! Union is one of the most undisciplined teams you will play, but VA folks always blame Ky refs! They couldn't use that excuse in this one!

Young “AJ” played one heckuva football game.

Question for Paintsville people:

Are the Ratliff kid and his cousin playing?
#14
Ratliff quit a couple weeks in to the season (after the first scrimmage). Older Collins had shoulder surgery and younger Collins doesn't play.

Sounded like bunch late hits and personal fowl on the radio, from Union kids,

Congratulations to Paintsville on the win

There were a few on them and about all of them were at very important points of the game. One drive it was 3rd and 15+ and the DB broke up a pass and proceeded to follow our WR back to the LOS clapping and taunting directly in front of the line judge. Really gave the official no choice but call it.

Good bounce back win for Tigers on the road.

What’s the latest on Hyden and Allen?
