(10) Georgetown College 82 Campbellsville 60
#1
Quan Poindexter hit one of two from the foul line and helped to start an 11-2 run to help Georgetown College men's basketball defeat Campbellsville University. It went from a two-point game to an 11-point lead. The No. 10 Tigers (20-3, 5-3) held a double digit lead the rest of the way for an 80-62 win.

Eljay Cowherd tallied a new career-high with a game-tying high 18 points. The sophomore was six-of-seven from the field, making his only three-point attempt and connecting on five of his six free throws. Shadell Millinghaus came off the bench for 18 points, he also had a game-high 12 rebounds.

Quan Poindexter finished with 13 points.

Campbellsville was a chilly four-of-20 from three-point range as the CU Tigers (18-6, 3-5) struggled to find an offensive rhythm. GC's defense played a large part of that, forcing 23 turnovers with 16 steals. Millinghaus, Darion Burns and Jahyde Gardiner all had three.

Jalen Coates (12) and Jacob King (10) led Campbellsville.

Georgetown is back in action 8 pm Feb. 8 at University of the Cumberlands.
