A 6 year old girl is recovering after a Jeep hit her at the intersection of Devonia Avenue and Orion Way. Neighbors say the girl tried to cross the road around 5:00

This is such a sad story. What i want to know is why the parents wasnt keep a close eye on there childeren.

Was this at 5 am? If so, what in the world was a child doing out at that time?

Was it in a residential neighborhood? If so Yes the parents should have kept a better eye on their child but the driver should always be on the highest alert when traveling thru a residential area because you never know when a kid will run out even if someone is watching.
