I'm scratching my head as to why Pikeville is ahead of Hazard or Raceland

They are virtually tied on Cantrall's Rating System.

Pikeville lost to Hazard by 12, but has played a much tougher schedule (LCA, Paintsville, and Belfry).
#4
Ludlow continues to be to low

So what? Hazard beat them, and I would bet a 5$ spot that Raceland would beat them too. I am not in any way dogging Pikeville, this is just reality.

Don’t get your knickers in a twist. It’s .2 points. Virtually a tie. Nothing more than a strength of schedule factor from the computer.

Ludlow is at 37.1.

Yes, they are 7-0; however, here are the ratings of their defeated opponents:

Carroll County - 17.4
Bracken County - 31.0
Gallatin County - 8.2
Newport - 8.2
Williamsburg - 44.4
Bishop Brossart - 25.5
Dayton - 0.5

Tough to rise in the Cantrall Ratings when 3 of your 7 defeated opponents have a rating of less than 10.
