WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - â A 16-year-old student has been killed in a double stabbing that occurred at the Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation in the Bronx borough of New York City, according to PIX 11.
Another student is in critical condition while the suspect is in custody. Investigators tell The New York Post that an argument ensued between a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old who attacked the two younger teenagers.
The 16-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival. WABC-TV reports that a pair of scissors was recovered.
The school houses an elementary school and a high school. The building was placed on lockdown after the incident occurred.
