Administrations that kill sports programs!
#1
Thoughts and why?

Two come to mind, Middlesboro and Bell County

Middlesboro superintendent Steve Martin has tore down more in a short amount of time than anyone around. It has been a domino effect from coaches to complete programs and now discipline and academics. The community has no trust in our system and the staff for the most part has the lowest moral ever. That is the ones that are left. More teachers have left this system than ever. When you have a guy that tries to SNEAK a tax increase in on the city and public how can he be trusted? He held the hearing on the Friday of the 4th of July weekend at 5:30. So that no one would be in town to contest the tax. On top of that the public didn't know it was being held. So when it passed many petitions went around to have it repelled. This is what this board and superintendent does along with giving him big raises each year and the teachers nothing. He is the worst thing that has ever happened to our system. He has involved himself in the football program more than the assistant coaches and has told coaches they have to play this kid and keep that one, not to mention how he belittles the staff and play calling in the stands. His brother is just about as bad except he is known for being clueless when it comes to football and Steve is just above clueless. He is behind the scenes involved in basketball and look at that situation. It goes on and on, right to falling test scores in each of the three schools. 2 being in bottom 10 and High School continues to decline. Very sad situation.
