Peter Pan and Great Value jars with a product code that starts with 2111.
I have 2 jars with that code that have "best by" dates about 6 weeks apart.

My mom JUST called me to let me know that we had a jar at home of it. Luckily, I haven't ate peanut butter in a looooong time.

wow. recall covers all p.b. made since May '06 at a Ga. plant.
Too bad they haven't been able to narrow it down any more than what they have. Th CDC isn't even sure it's the p.b. - could be the jars.
Here's how I see it... the jar in the pantry is going back to the store for a refund. The jar that's about half empty, and didn't make me sick yet, will be finished off - S L O W L Y. Now gotta wait a while before I can buy my fav. brand again.

I wonder if someone in your family has ate the peanut butter if they should go to the doctor.

My mom and sister ate some and didn't get sick so I'm guessing that unless they are showing symptoms not to really worry. I heard that jars of the stuff is going on ebay buuut I never looked myself. My parents threw away our jar of it.
