How pathetic is it that a team that gave up 28 to a team as bad as Whitley County is now playing for a state championship?

If I'm not mistaken - Highlands not only went to four straight 5A title games - but they won four straight.

They won six state titles in a row and I'm almost 100% sure four of them were in 5A.

That was when they were in 4A.

I as well as the Pulaski broadcast team stand corrected. So the Maroons are still one of only ten teams to do it and the 2nd team in 5A to do it.

It's still a testament to how well the Maroons have played over the last several years.

They've knocked my Commodores out of contention several times Wink

Kudos to Maroons who have got progressively better. Kids and coaches have done a great job. Some teams are like Kansas trying to win conference championships (district championships) and some are trying to bring home big trophies.

Do me a favor, and be more consistent in BG!! That first half last night nearly gave me heart failure!!

Cheering for you next weekend!!
