Two District 8 teams playing for the Region 4 championship....

This will be the first time JC and Ashland Blazer have played for a Regional Championship and only the 2nd time they have played in the playoffs.

The 2006 game was epic. JC caused a fumble late in the game and was able to take the lead and get W.

This game will be decided by turnovers. If Johnson Central turns the ball over at least five times more than Ashland, then the Tomcats will have a shot at the win. If turnovers are even, it will be another very long night for Ashland.

Pitt did beat Clemson last night. USC did beat Washington. Iowa did beat Meechigan. Ashland has a punchers chance. But they are facing the wild Gypsy from England. JC is big, mean, tough and skilled.

Friday night will be brought to you by the letters "R" & "C". As in "Regional Champions" and "running clock".

This game will come down to turnovers! If JC were to turn the ball over every single time they touch it then Ashland could possibly find themselves in it at the end!

Good luck to both teams in this game. Hopefully, no one will be injured in the contest.

I believe the Golden Eagles might be too much for the Tom Cats!

Running clock first half.

Ashland will have Long Offensive Scoring Possessions and cause several JC turnovers.
That is their best chance to beat JC.

If Ashland tries to trade scores with JC and they (attempt to) turn this game in to a Track Meet, JC will blow them off the field.

If a person had a motor scooter and was friendly with the authorities, he could make a circuit and try to keep up with both games in person.

These need to be played like the finals. One game before the other.

It's probably closer than that "as the crow (or eagle) flies", isn't it?
