Cage matches have one purpose.... to end a rivalry. That's it.

I HATE to see outside interference during any type of cage match. That defeats the purpose of the entire concept.

Pin falls and submissions are also defeating the purpose of a cage match. First person that escapes the cage by going out the door or climbing over the top and put both feet on the ground is the winner. Anything other than that is wrong.

And FWIW, my all-time favorite cage is the old WWF Blue Bar style cage.

Kennel From Hell...obviously.

Just kiddin'...I probably fancy the Hell In A Cell the most, especially those early ones.

And something I forgot.... the term "15 foot high steel cage" is not even close to being right.

Maybe 15 feet off the ground. But there is NO WAY the cage is 15 feet high from the ring apron to the top of the cage. Some cage matches with Andre the Giant prove that... his head is almost even with the top of the cage.
