Why does UK recruit WRs that can't catch?
#1
The 2015 UK football season was a very frustrating season to watch because of the high number of dropped passes by the UK WRs! I feel like if the UK WRs had caught the ball at a respectable percentage UK would have easily made a Bowl game. Some UK fans may make excuses for all the dropped passes, some may blame Pat Towles but the simple truth is the WRs at UK right now can't catch the football very well! Why recruit a WR that can't catch? It's not a track meet catching the football is fundamental part of the game. Guys that run a 4.7 like Wes Welker have had very successful NFL Careers. Steve Largent was not very fast but he was sure handed! Why not give a kid like Jake Johnson a chance?

Not catching the ball cost us 2 wins this year and drove me crazy...The group of WR coming in plus some red shirts should provide enough depth to bench the offenders if they drop balls next year...

Untimely drops made it impossible to put drives together on a consistent basis.
