It's all about the sponsorship dollars. You have Russel Atheletics and Houchens Industries is the biggest sponsorship and both based in Bowling Green. But there is no doubt that a big company in Lexington would make up the difference. I like the WKU venue and really have no complaints with the exception of the drive for the Eastern, Ky folks. But Lexington has 10 times more to offer than Bowling Green and would cut down on drive times for the majority of the state. I wouldn't mind them finding a central location of the two teams actually playing in the finals wether all the games where at the same location or not. It's about the teams and fans not the one as lining their pockets. For example, the 3A game being played at Morehead to accomidate both teams and short drive for both.
