May get sensored.

It's a lot worse than BGR rankings, so, it should be. People complain all the time about how bad the AP polls are and I agree, then want to make them the one that matters. I'd much rather go by a poll of fans that actually take the time to get on boards like these and discuss teams across the state vs a bunch of beat writers that covers one particular area of the state and have no clue about the rest of the state. There may be exceptions, but, in looking at there weekly selections, not too many.
#4
North Laurel with a first place vote.

I wonder if North Laurel has ever received a First Place vote before?
#5
I think Perry Central got a first place vote last week lol

Ha you maybe correct... but unfortunately these are the mandated ones that actually count!
There are lots of kids around the state that cant wait to see these rankings in the paper when they get home on tuesdays.. everyone will have there opinion and im sure there are ppl that still like to look at them... personaly I like them. But it honestly doesnt matter to me cause. Which ever poll u find we are where we need to be:1::rockon:

I have no idea, but more importantly, people need to make sure whoever gave them that vote is not out driving somewhere!

What do they count for? They don't determine anything. You can have that pretty little number by your name, and beat your own chest. That little number won't help you come playoff time. Team vs Team, best one wins. I can tell you DeSales won't care what number is in front of your name. Your just another team, standing in our way.

And your cute number 1 jab. The AP is the only poll your ranked ahead of DeSales in. The BGR, Litkenhous, and Cantrell all have DeSales ahead of mayfield. But again, that don't matter. Numbers don't determine championships in high school football.

Really:flame: The ap poll is the major poll that determin the teams rankings in the state, I guess fortunately for u s I guess these other polls dont determin our state rankings. Frakes for courier journal an josh moore for lexington herald leader voted mayfield. Over yall... dont get so butt hurt .. do you feel threatened to make such a remark .. I just said we are where we want to be... dont remember beating chest but I can start iv got lots of lessons from 55:Clap::hilarious:
Courious here who do u have to play typically to get to the murray game (district)

The great thing about all of these polls is, come Black Friday only one team from the west will be #1 in all of them. I remember 2002 they had Danville ranked #1 and us #2 all year. We went to their house and won 17-7. I remember 2005 Bardstown was #1 all year until they came to War Memorial and left with a 35-21 loss. It will all work out. Polls don't score for us or anyone else.

55 you better stop while ur ahead lol or im going to jump onboard and file a unjust lawsuit against the associated press claiming they are hurting and warping these kids minds with there rankings and there should not be any numbers judging teams rank..... there COLT does that sound better now come get u some ..... :lmao:
