Good find. Brings back some memories. They weren't exactly the best Russell team ever, but they were solid. Their two losses came against teams(Lloyd Memorial & Breathitt Co.) with a combined record of 27-1. The Litkenhous rankings(for what it's worth) had Lloyd ranked in its top-20 and Breathitt in its top-10. The Bobcats were simply too much to handle in Jackson that year.

Drew Ramey(#1) is one of the best pure athletes to ever play at Russell. He had great speed, cutting ability, and instincts in the open field. Maybe second only to Josh Gross in Russell history. Had a pretty good arm as well, on the few occasions that he got to use it.

I wish Shawn Wilson would have been able to play at Russell the whole season he would have made a world of difference in that team.
