I'm a Marshall fan. This loss stopped the silly talk that they should be included in the playoffs. I know even if they had won and won the conference championship that they would not have made the playoffs but just the talk of it was silly. They simply haven't played anyone and didn't deserve to be included.

^ Westy, your right, it was not plausible for them to be considered in the playoff discussion, but it's disappointing that the loss will now take them out of a New Years Day bowl game. The highest ranked non-super conference game was guaranteed a NYD game, and that went out the window for Marshall. That's a shame, because now this team will not be properly rewarded for truly a great year.
