You can't take it with you & You won't need it where your going
#1
We've all heard the old saying.... "You can't take it with you"
Meaning, you can't take your money, possessions and other riches with you after you die. When we die, and someday... every person will have to face death. It's a fact of life... the only thing we don't know is when, where and how. The Why has already been answered.
Hebrews ch. 9 (KJV)
27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Below are just a few examples of what The Bible tells us about worldy riches.
But... The Bible also teaches we will have no use for what ever we have acquired on this earth.

Matthew Ch. 6 (KJV)
19 - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 - But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Acts ch. 17 (KJV)
24 - God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Matthew ch. 16 (KJV)
26 - For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Luke Ch. 16 (KJV)
19 - There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 - And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 - And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 - And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 - And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 - And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 - But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 - And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence.

27 - Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 - For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 - Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 - And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 - And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Now that doesn't mean that The Lord doesn't want us to be happy while we are on this earth. That's why He blesses us with homes, cars, careers, kids, money. To use for the upbuilding of His kingdom. The only possession you need when you die is the shed Blood of Jesus Christ applied to your heart.

2 Corinthians ch. 9 (KJV)
7 - Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Luke ch. 6 (KJV)
38 - Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Proverbs ch. 3 (KJV)
9 - Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
