Best QB's in the Mountains this season
#1
Who does everyone think that the best QB in the mountains is so far this season???
#2
i would have to say that Tyler Johnson from SV started out pretty good but then he had to have surgery....So now i would have to say Scott Grizzle(Raceland), if thats still consindered in the mountains
#3
jake plummer
#4
Ross Deaton
#5
Thats a tough one, there's a lot of QB's who have improved compared to last year. I'm not even sure on this one.
#6
If SV's QB Tyler Johson had 2 good legs he would've probably been it

Here's some stats ! So I'll let you all figure who's the best !

-Trevor Hoskins- Middlesboro / 60-115 - 1,131yds 14tds
-Scott Grizzle- Raceland / 84-136 1,037yds 14tds
-Tyler Olinger- Hazard / 55-92 1,195yds 11tds
-Bobby Hughes- Prestonsburg / 30-81 624yds 4tds
-Tyler Johnson- Shelby Valley / 33-76 593yds 12tds
-Darrel Mahan- Ashland / 33-72 520yds 6tds
-Ross Deaton- Somerset / 106-180 2,084 25tds
-Chase Jones- Harlan / 58-110 864yds 8tds
-Clint Cashen- Corbin / 89-186 1,264yds 8tds
-Jimmie Joe Morgan- Leslie Co / 58-100 550yds 6tds
-Zack Lewis- Clay Co / 172-243 2,739yds 28tds
-Mike Jones- SouthWestern / 50-128 973yds 7tds
-Corey Smith- Knox Central / 56-106 849yds 10tds

To me its obviously Zack Lewis of Clay Co ! To me he may be the next Tim Couch, and I think he is just a sophmore ! Behind him I'd say Ross Deaton of Somerset with over 2,000 yards and over 10 touchdowns ! Those are my two top QB's !

I'd take Zack Lewis. He's just a sophmore and leading the state in passing and TDs last I had seen. If they can keep some talented WR around him, by the time he's a senior, he may be breaking state records.

Shelby Valley's Tyler Johnson
#10
1) Zach Lewis - Clay

2) Ross Deaton - Somerset
#11
All 5 games that Tyler Johnson of Shelby Valley played were on a torn acl. Everyone else has played at least 7 to 8 games at this point. Now look at the stats again.

 I would add Colby Fugate-Breathitt Co. to the list as well

Is Lewis leading the State in touchdown passes???
#14
Well, before I could decide between a few of them. But after seeing the actual stats, gotta give it to Ross Deaton and Zack Lewis.
#15
Dakota Brock,LCC, 1700 yards passing with 15 TD's and 500 Rushing with 8 TD's. Maybe not the best but he certainly deserves on your list.
